Back at work, a young doctor noticed Kalinda.
“Wow, Dr. Kalinda,” said the young doctor, “looks like
you’re in love? Your appearance is different than usual.”
“R-Really?” Kalinda was startled by her
coworker’s comment. Usually, she wore her hair down or
in a ponytail, but today she had a decorative headband.
Her face had a little makeup to brighten it, and her
usually worn black shoes looked clean and new.
“That’s just your opinion, Dara. I just wanted to
look a little different,” Kalinda said, slightly panicking.
She tried hard to avoid attracting too much attention.
Dara couldn’t help but laugh. It was obvious her
friend was in love. Since joining the hospital, Kalinda
had never cared much about her appearance, thinking
cleanliness and smelling nice were enough. But today
was different. Kalinda’s change became a hot topic
among coworkers.
