Lily and I walked to class together, still talking
about love. About love? Honestly, I can’t even remember
the last time I felt something like that.
Days passed as I adjusted to life as a high school
student. The heavy workload and responsibilities made
me realize I was no longer a child who could just play
around. I had to start focusing on my studies and my
future.
One day, I got caught in the rain at school and
couldn’t go home. I had forgotten to bring an umbrella or
raincoat. But it wasn’t a big deal—I liked the rain. While
waiting for it to stop, I sat on a bench outside the
classroom, reading my book.
Rain poured down heavily. The wind blew hard,
making the air feel cold. I looked around—others seemed
reluctant to go home as well.
As I was reading, someone sat beside me. A boy
in uniform with wet hair, probably from the rain.
