I sit in the third row from the front, place my bag
beside me, and open my book to read. Not long after,
someone speaks to me.
“Hi, can I sit here?” she asks.
I look up to see a girl smiling warmly. Pretty, I
think.
I nod and smile back. “Of course, go ahead.”
That day, I made my first friend in high school.
Her name is Lily—a beautiful girl with a kind and
friendly nature. She’s always there whenever I need
someone.
Time went on, and we eventually developed a
habit of sitting in the school garden. We’d do all sorts of
things there: reading books, watching movies, or just
having lunch together.
