“Jane, have you ever been in love?” Lily once
asked, looking at me.
“Hmm, maybe? I’m not really sure about that,” I
replied. “Why do you ask?”
“It’s nothing. I’m just wondering—what do you
think falling in love feels like?” she asked again,
chewing her food after the question.
"I think being in love is a mix of emotions that
we can’t even explain. It feels really happy, but also
brings fear of losing someone. Still, I think most people
feel comfort and warmth from the person who loves
them.”
As we were deep in conversation, the bell rang
loudly, signaling that it was time for class.
“Alright, Jane. Let’s get back to class.”
