want us to play one last song together,” she said, voice

               trembling.

With bittersweet smiles, they began their favorite
melody—the song they always played each afternoon in

that garden. Guitar and melodica wove together into a

delicate harmony full of memories. Their classmates
stood quietly, moved by the closeness between them.

When the song ended, Melodi Hujan looked at

Melodi Senja. “I may go far away,” she said, “but our

melody will always live in our hearts. Whenever you
play your evening song, imagine I’m right there with

               you.”

Melodi Senja was silent, tears welling in her eyes.
She understood that though they would be apart in body,

their friendship would never truly fade. Before leaving,

Melodi Hujan handed her pianika to Melodi Senja. “Take
this,” she said. “Whenever you miss me, play the rain

melody. We’ll still be together in those notes.”
