After Melodi Hujan left, Melodi Senja often sat
in the garden, alternating between guitar and pianika.
Though she was alone, she could feel her friend’s
presence in every note she played. Everyone who heard
her music sensed that, despite the distance, their
friendship lived on in the melodies echoing through the
school garden.
Meanwhile, in her new city, Melodi Hujan also
played the evening tune on a spare melodica she had
brought, imagining her faraway friend. Though miles lay
between them, their hearts remained connected, for to
them, true friendship was a melody that never grew
old—always present, always beautiful, wherever they
were.
Time passed, and Melodi Senja grew accustomed
to playing alone in the garden. Yet every time she
strummed her guitar or lifted the pianika her friend had
given her, she felt a hollow ache in her heart—a longing
that never fully left, but transformed into a melody she
held deep within.
