Raising his hand, he called upon nature’s force to

               fight the creature. A bright light descended from the sky,
               enveloping them. The creature let out a horrific roar. As


                       Angub’s power peaked, he felt himself vanishing

               into the void.


                       “Angub!”


                       Gone—with the fading light. The mud fell still.

               Chapter 5: What Remained
                       The next morning, the village woke to peace. The

               terrifying  mud  had  calmed.  Hope  returned.  But Angub
               had vanished without a trace, leaving emptiness in Swa’s

               heart.


                       Swa sat by the mud, gazing at where Angub last

               stood. “Look at the village, Angub.


                       Life  is  peaceful  again.  All  thanks  to  your
               sacrifice. You’d be proud,” she whispered with sorrow.
