“Ah, no. It’s just… you reminded me of
something,” the man answered.
“I see. Well then, if there’s nothing else, I’ll be
heading home. Thank you for waking me up,” the
woman said softly. She stood up, preparing to leave,
when the man suddenly called out—startling her once
more.
“W-wait! I’m Adrian! Adrian Dhanurendra,” he
said, extending his hand.
His deep voice, tinged with nervousness, might
have drawn laughter from onlookers. Truthfully, the
woman before him had to suppress a chuckle herself.
Though surprised by his sudden gesture, she made an
effort to remain polite in return.
"Kalinda, my name is Kalinda Sandhya," the
woman replied.
In that moment, Adrian felt as if he were standing
in a garden full of blooming flowers and fluttering
butterflies. His heart felt unusually light and joyful.
