she said with warmth and concern.
The young woman smiled gently in response and
gave a small nod, quietly taking in her mother’s words.

The midday heat was enough to stir thirst in the
woman’s throat. Eventually, she decided to buy a bottle
of water from a street vendor and rest at the nearby park.
Leaning back on the bench, she closed her eyes for a
moment, trying to quiet the noise in her head. She was
exhausted—constantly working like a racehorse without
a break. Even on a Sunday, she was stuck dealing with a
mountain of reports.
It had been a long time since the young woman
had last breathed fresh outdoor air. Thankfully, her
mother had asked her to go out and buy some flowers. If
it weren’t for that small request, she would still be buried
in paperwork at home.
