Love Beyond the Door

                       Delami never believed in ghosts until she found

               the  abandoned  house  at  the  edge of town. Thebuilding
               was  dilapidated,  covered  in  cobwebs,  and had an eerie

               atmosphere. Yet, something about itcalled her.


                       Inside  the  house,  she  discovered  a  large

               looking-glass,  its  surface  clouded  with  dust.  As  she
               wiped  it  clean,  her  breath  caught  in  her  throat.  The

               reflection was not just her own—behind her stood a man.

               “I am Beuy,” he said, his voice like the rustle of leaves in
               the dead of night. “I’ve been trapped here for centuries.”


                       Delami  ran,  fear  tightening  her  chest,  but

               something  in  his  eyes,  deep sorrow, drew her back the

               next night. Night after night they talked. Beuy told her of
               his life before the curse, about the scary night when he

               was turned into a phantom. At first, Delami dismissed it
