With a gentle kiss on her forehead, Rudi turned

               and disappeared into the darkness of the night.
               Margaretha stood frozen, unable to move, only staring in

               the direction he had gone, hoping one day he would
               return.

                       Months passed with no word from Rudi.
               Margaretha waited faithfully, sitting by the shore each

               day, hoping to see Rudi’s figure walking toward her. But
               one day, a trader from the city came with devastating

               news. “I heard from a friend at the harbor,” he said,

               “Rudi fell gravely
               ill and died on the journey.”

                       Margaretha’s world collapsed. The love she had

               hoped would unite them had ended in tragedy. Rudi, the
               man she had loved with all her heart, had left this world

               without returning to her.

                       Margaretha fell ill, her body weakened, and her

               soul felt empty. Every day she visited the place where
               they used to meet, waiting, even though she knew Rudi
