“Mom, can I delay today’s training? I have a
group project to finish,” Nara asked. His mother calmly
replied, “Try to manage your time well. Training is
important too, so make sure you balance both.”
A few years later, in sixth grade, Nara
rediscovered his spirit for badminton. This time, he
joined a more serious badminton club. With full support
from his parents, Nara trained more seriously. He
practiced three times a week at the club and did
additional physical training on weekends.
His hard work paid off. In his first inter-club
league in Yogyakarta, he won first place in the boys'
singles category. This achievement became a turning
point in his badminton journey. Nara became even more
determined to become a professional badminton player.
Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic came and put
a pause on his progress. All sports activities were
suspended. Still, Nara didn’t give up. He continued
