numbers mercilessly.
The constant creaking of the swivel chair reveals
the owner's frustration. Answers and replies are heard in
several cubicles asking for the data listed. People work
with their heads slightly tilted, eyes staring intently at the
monitor screen, and fingers that move non-stop, fast, and
in a hurry, as if their fingers are racing against the clock
in the corner of the screen. A short chat occurs on the
way to the elevator. A stiff smile is greeted by a quick
nod. it's been three days and three nights, they forced
overtime. considering the report deadline was at the end
of the room.
"Ven! Psstt ..." whispered from the cubicle at the
end of the room.
"Have you had lunch? Let's go to the cafeteria
downstairs!"
