Fira's Song
By: Laquisha Betzia Aditaputri Siregar
In the heart of a bustling city veiled in the hum of
ambition, a man named Arman walked a tightrope strung
between love and despair. He was a devoted father and
husband, a man who had once tasted success but now
stood on the precipice of financial ruin. The shadows of
bankruptcy loomed large, and every passing day seemed
to chip away at the foundation of the life he had built.
But none of it compared to the dread of disappointing his
daughter, Fira, he light of his life.
Fira, at seventeen, was radiant and full of dreams.
She had grown up shielded from struggle, wrapped in
warmth, books, and laughter. Her world was one of ballet
recitals, Sunday brunches, and soft lullabies sung in the
kitchen. But the quiet storm brewing behind the closed
doors of her father’s study had gone unnoticed, until it
couldn’t be hidden anymore.
